Acceptable Use Policy
This policy defines the permitted and prohibited uses of Kevros services. All users, integrators, and automated systems must comply with these requirements.
Effective Date: March 7, 2026 · Last Updated: March 7, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services, APIs, and infrastructure operated by TaskHawk Systems, LLC ("TaskHawk," "we," or "us") under the Kevros platform. By accessing or using any Kevros service, you agree to comply with this policy.
This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users, integrators, and automated systems interacting with Kevros endpoints.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Kevros services for any activity that is illegal under applicable United States federal, state, or local law, or the laws of any jurisdiction in which you operate.
- •Fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion
- •Distribution of malware, ransomware, or exploit payloads
- •Unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data belonging to TaskHawk or third parties
- •Activities that violate export control regulations, including EAR and ITAR
- •Use of Kevros services to facilitate human trafficking, child exploitation, or any form of abuse
3. API and Infrastructure Abuse
Kevros enforces rate limits and usage quotas to maintain service availability. The following are prohibited:
- •Intentional denial-of-service attacks or volumetric abuse against any Kevros endpoint
- •Circumventing, bypassing, or disabling rate limits, authentication controls, or access restrictions
- •Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction beyond documented API usage
- •Submitting intentionally malformed, oversized, or adversarial payloads designed to degrade service performance
- •Using free-tier accounts to circumvent paid usage limits through account proliferation
4. Security Controls
Kevros implements cryptographic enforcement as a core design principle. You agree not to:
- •Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble enforcement logic, cryptographic primitives, or evidence chain construction
- •Tamper with, forge, or manipulate provenance records, attestation certificates, or hash-chained evidence
- •Intercept, modify, or replay cryptographic tokens, release tokens, or signed governance decisions
- •Probe or test the security of Kevros infrastructure without prior written authorization from TaskHawk
Authorized security research is welcome through our responsible disclosure program. Contact security@taskhawktech.com before conducting any security testing.
5. Certification and Representation
You may not misrepresent the scope, validity, or meaning of any Kevros attestation, certificate, or governance decision. Specifically:
- •Do not claim a Kevros attestation certifies compliance with a standard or regulation unless that certification has been independently verified
- •Do not present Kevros outputs as a substitute for required regulatory filings, audits, or assessments
- •Do not use TaskHawk or Kevros trademarks, logos, or branding in a manner that implies endorsement without written permission
- •Do not fabricate or alter Kevros verification results for marketing, regulatory, or contractual purposes
6. Data and Content
You are responsible for all data submitted to Kevros services. You may not submit:
- •Data you do not have the legal right to process or transmit
- •Classified or controlled unclassified information (CUI) through endpoints not designated for such data
- •Personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, VCDPA, or equivalent)
- •Content that infringes intellectual property rights of any third party
7. Enforcement and Termination
TaskHawk reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Kevros services for any user who violates this AUP, with or without prior notice. Enforcement actions may include:
- •Temporary or permanent suspension of API keys and account access
- •Revocation of attestation certificates issued during the violation period
- •Reporting to law enforcement where required by applicable law
- •Pursuit of legal remedies for damages caused by policy violations
Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of any prepaid service credits.
